No blankets, no kitchen accessories for stove or dishes. Shower not comfortable. Toilet backed up. I wouldn’t ever want to go back. Not a good value.

Very clean motel in a convenient location one mile from downtown Grass Valley. Very simple but extremely adequate for a comfortable night stay.

It was clean and the room was a good size. The pillows were newer and the bed was comfortable. They let us check in early which was great after traveling two days to get there.

It was conveniently located in a good section of town. The owners were a lovely family that spanned several generations and they were very pleasant and always available. The bathroom was roomy and had a pretty Granite countertop. As you entered the room, your first see a delightfully painted wall mural surrounding the bed-frame.

Staff was very nice, room clean and the bed was comfortable. Close to stores and places to eat. After 8 pm the motel was quiet so no problem sleeping.

The protection wrap they put on the toilet seat to ensure that no one used it since the staff last checked/cleaned it. Gave me some comfort.

This is a country lodge. The staff is wonderful... But remember, up early... Good too bed early. This ain't no fancy city hotel, this is down home wonderful family owned place to stay within a mile off everything you need. Say hi the staff from Robert.

Do not listen to the 1 in 2 stars about this hotel it exceeded my expectations for a cheaper quick one night stay. It was clean it was spacious doors locked water was not interact with the staff much but they were courteous and smiling.

Pleasantly surprised that the room was very clean. Appeared to be freshly painted and like bathroom was newly renovated. Glad to see a vinyl floor vs carpet which is impossible to keep clean. Nice to have soap and shampoo/conditioner.

I loved the character of the holiday lodge. Our room was the wells fargo room. Historically, Grass valley was a great mining and timber location. The hotel reflected this. The staff was friendly and our room made me smile
